Working method
Financial advice is a sequence of conversations and documents, not a single product pitch. This page shows the stages we use for planning reviews and related consultations so you know what to expect before you write.
A complimentary 25-minute call to hear your question, confirm we are authorised for the advice type, and outline a likely fee range.
Scope, fee, deposit, and cancellation terms in writing. Work does not begin until both sides sign.
We gather statements, interview you on goals and dependents, then model cash flow, tax wrappers, and protection gaps offline.
A written memorandum, a walkthrough meeting, and a short follow-up window for clarification while you implement with your providers.
What you prepare
Bring pension annual statements, ISA valuations, mortgage illustrations, life policy schedules, and recent tax computations if you have them. Missing documents slow the file; we would rather wait a week than invent balances.
If a solicitor or accountant already holds part of the picture, we will ask permission to speak with them directly.
Most clients prefer video. In-person appointments are available at our England office by prior arrangement. We do not cold-call or schedule unsolicited home visits.
Implementation — transferring pensions, applying for cover, or instructing an investment manager — remains your decision. We can remain available on an hourly basis or close the file cleanly once the memorandum is delivered.
