Fees
How we charge for financial counsel
Pricing follows the work: fixed fees for well-scoped reviews, hourly rates when the file is open-ended. Nothing is billed until you sign an engagement letter.
| Engagement | Basis | Indicative fee |
|---|---|---|
| Complimentary discovery call | 25 minutes by phone or video | No charge |
| Comprehensive financial planning review | Fixed fee, household | From £1,850 |
| Retirement income review | Fixed fee, single person | From £950 |
| Investment second opinion | Desk review + meeting | £425 |
| Protection & estate cover audit | Fixed fee, personal cover | From £575 |
| Ad hoc advisory time | Hourly, agreed in advance | £220 per hour |
Director, multi-property, and trust cases are quoted after discovery. Fees are informational and may change once we have seen the volume of statements and third-party correspondence involved.
What affects the quote
- Number of pension schemes and investment accounts to reconcile
- Whether overseas assets or non-dom considerations appear
- Need to coordinate with solicitors on trust or shareholder documents
- Urgency of a transaction deadline (for example a share sale date)
Deposits and payment
Fixed-fee engagements usually require a 40% deposit on signing. The balance is due when the written advice is delivered. Hourly work is invoiced monthly with a time summary. We accept bank transfer; we do not process card payments on this site.
